Hacker's Keyboard v1.40.7

Are you missing the familiar key layout from your computer? This keyboard offers separate number keys, punctuation in the traditional places, and arrow keys. It is based on the AOSP Gingerbread soft keyboard, providing multitouch support for the modifier keys.

This keyboard is particularly valuable if you use ConnectBot for SSH access. It includes functional Tab/Ctrl/Esc keys, and the arrow keys are essential for devices without a trackball or D-Pad.

If you encounter issues with the latest version, you can download previous releases from this page.

Known issues include:

• Localization for the keyboard layout is incomplete. Currently, Spanish, Finnish, Lao, Romanian, and Thai are only localized in 4-row mode and display the English QWERTY layout in 5-row mode.
• Some languages and layouts may not be usable on your phone if the necessary fonts are missing.
• Right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew) may not be fully supported on pre-Honeycomb devices. Your experience may vary.
• Many applications do not respond to additional keys since they are not programmed to handle them.
